What happened to the Urim and Thummim that Joseph Smith used to translate the Book of Mormon?

Dear Paul,

I have been unable to find any definite information on the disposition of the Urim and Thummim. When the Prophet let Martin Harris take the translation to show to others and it was lost, the Angel Moroni took the plates and the Urim and Thummim from Joseph for a short period. I can only assume that once the Prophet had finally completed the translation and again returned the plates to Moroni, he also returned the Urim and Thummim.
